The Pure and The Corrupted
Centuries ago, vampires and werewolves lived in the shadows, occasionally feasting on the blood of humans to survive. The truth about their atrocities was lost in time, but soon, the souls of the night creatures started to turn corrupt. Their hunger seemingly knew no bounds and they emerged from the shadows, causing widespread destruction and terror, pushing humanity to the brink of extinction.
But hope was not lost. A small tribe of powerful creatures called Wahrens and Healers, hidden deep in the heart of the Amawindi Forest, rose up to challenge the rogue monsters. With their bravery and skill, they fought back and helped those in need. As the tribe grew stronger, they succeeded in restoring peace to the world.
However, the Healers soon discovered a dark side to their abilities. Their powers only brought temporary relief, causing corrupted mana to pool within the humans that they healed. When these humans eventually died, they returned as the undead. Even Healers could not heal their own kind without leaving permanent scars behind.
It was only the Wahrens, who could be fully healed without risking corruption. This led to the formation of the world's new order, where human’s coexisted peacefully with Wahrens & Healers. The Healers now limited their ability to only healing the Wahrens, who stood guard against rogue armies, ready to fight for the communities they safeguarded since the dawn of time.
